Thumbs Up 1982 KZ750 Twin Bobber Build
Posted by: grizzle - 01-05-2017, 09:06 PM - Forum: Gallery - Replies (1)

So a couple years back I traded my .357 revolver and 300 bucks for this bike.  I've done quite a bit to the bike at this point, including a complete rewiring, hard-tail section, amongst other things.  The first picture here is how it looked after I got it, and all the others are what it looks like now.  In the near future, I want to add a fender in the style of a 1950's-70's Harley sportster,  glass bead the frame, battery box, e-box, and all other bare metal parts and have a shop put a flat clear coat on all of it, and switch up my exhaust system a little bit.  Let me know if y'all have any ideas.

This is the most current picture I have.  Stripped quite a bit of weight off of it.

the Hardly Davidson Shadow 750 spirit
Posted by: blacksailsinthesunset - 12-01-2016, 01:02 PM - Forum: Gallery - Replies (3)

Hi everyone, just wanted to share my little Shadow 750 spirit. I bought it in August in basically stock form, and well, this is what I have now. My friends call it the Hardly. Lol. Shoot me any questions about my scoot, I'm friendly most of the time

I'm not a Chevy guy, my buddy is a hardcore Dodge guy, so I bought him a Chevy sign just to troll him

We wanted to apologize for all the spam we have been getting.  We try to put things in place to keep it from happening but it just keeps coming and it gets away from us.  We will try to do better in keeping on top of it and deleting it.

So we apologize!  Thanks to everyone for the support in this site.  Thank you to everyone who has emailed us or reached out to us to feature their builds too!  And to everyone who has purchased stickers/shirts, THANK YOU!

  Slip on exhaust
Posted by: ChrisHart2898 - 10-19-2016, 12:54 PM - Forum: Tips and Tricks - Replies (1)

I have a 1977 GS750 that I have been converting into a bobber. I've come to the part where I need to decide my exhaust. I have no experience with this part so any help is welcomed. I want to give my bike a deeper sound( ie get rid of the weed eater sound). My bank account would much prefer I buy slip on. What ones do you guys suggest? My carbs have been jetted and tuned to the stroker kit in the motor, so I really don't want to mess with them if I don't have to. Any suggestions would help. Oh and let's not be jack ass's not everyone knows everything

Hi All,

I've had my Vulcan (VN800) for about 4 years, slowly changing it up as my tastes/desire change!
It was a stock bike when I bought it 'sight-unseen' from Canberra...it only had about 15,000 km's on it and had been very well looked after; it was the perfect starting point:

I bought it while I was still on my 'learners bike' (we're restricted here in VIC for the first twelve months, to specific bikes with lower capacity/power specs....and now I'm told it's a 3 year restriction, not just 12 months!!)....and worked on it in the Garage until my 12 month 'probation' was up...kept me busy/happy.

It's all 'garage' built and I have done everything but the exhaust (a local mate did them)...it's all been done before I'm sure, but she's mine and I love it Smile
